 Curved Tempered Laminated Glass 

Curved or bent tempered laminated glass is produced by permanently bonding too pieces of curved tempered glass together with an interlayer or resin. 

 Processing Flow 

1. Float glass inspect, ensure not any bubbles, scratchs, spots etc defects.

2. Float glass cutting, polishing, drilling etc process.

3. Flot glass tempering process is heat float to the temperature of approx. 650°C, when the glass becomes softer and tensions disappear. After that, the glass is cooled rapidly, when a constant compression stress remains on the surface of the glass, and a constant tensile stress in the middle part.

4. After finish tempering process, put two pieces of curved tempered glass and a PVB film interlayer bound together in autoclave.

 Advantages 

• It’s harder and more scratch-resistant than standard glass.
• If broken, it crumbles into “pebbles” rather than sharp pieces.
• Lamination prevents falling or flying glass shards.
• Vinyl inner layer provides additional resistance to outside noise.
• The arching evident in curved glass allows for the glass to become highly load resistant. 
• Bent glass enhances aesthetics of architectural structures.
