19mm Low E Tempered Insulated glass
19mm low e tempered insulated glass unit commonly consists of one pane of 5mm low e tempered glass and one pane of 5mm tempered glass separated by an 9mm aluminum spacer and sealed together at the edge. The insulating airspace is filled with dry air or a noble gas, such as argon or krypton inside to slow the heat exchange and reduce noise levels. The aluminum spacer is filled with silica desiccant pellets to ensure removal of any moisture in the airspace. The IGU is designed to keep homes warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

How to Produce Insulated Glass
Glass Preparation
Jimy Glass use high quality float glass to process, cut glass into customer's demand size, esges polihsing to make glass looks beautiful and avoid being scratched by the sharp edge.
Glass Washing
The glass is machine washed to remove any bit of debris, and then the washed piece is inspected before moving to the next step in the manufacturing process.
Glass Assembly
With the glass panes prepared, the next step is to assemble them together by using insulated glass spacer systems. Spacers of Jimy Glass Factory are high quality and advanced systems that are an important part of the insulation process.
Desiccant Filling
The completed spacer frame is filled with desiccant. This adsorbs any moisture that may trapped in-between the two panes of glass during manufacture, or which finds a way into the sealed unit throughout the lifetime of the unit.
Primary Seal
Polyisobutylene is applied to both edges of the spacer tube framework. This is then carefully pressed in place in-between the two panes of glass.
Secondary Seal
There are various options of secondary sealant which can be applied to the outer edge of IG units to provide a dual seal.
Gas Filling
Gas filling is a means of improving the thermal efficiency of your IG unit to produce a high performance glass sealed unit.
Cleaning & Inspection
After the sealant used on the double pane units has cured we then clean them with an environmentally friendly glass cleaner. Once the units are cleaned, we get a thorough inspection of all components of the unit.

Advantages of Insulated Glass
Superior energy-saving effect:
Insulated glass creates a air barrier between the extrior and indoor and the temperature insulation performance is excellent.
High soundproof performance:
Insulated glass can reduce noise by 27-40 decibels.
Eliminate frost:
Insulated glass, because the inner glass that is in contact with the indoor air is affected by the air barrier, even if the outer layer contact is low, there is no condensation on the glass surface due to the temperature difference.
Increased wind pressure resistance:
The wind-resistant strength of insulated glass is 15 times that of single glass.
The glass coating does not fall off:
The metal film surface of the coated insulated glass never falls off in the dry sealed air.

Applications of Insulated Glass
- Insulated glass is mostly used in commercial curtain walls, glass facades of high rise structures, overhead and sloped glazing, skylights, canopies, etc.
- Insulated glass is also used in windows where sound insulation is priority such as conference rooms, recording studios, entertainment centres etc.
