8mm Tempered Glass 8mm Tempered Glass are also known as 8mm Toughened Glass, tempered glass is usually way more stronger than the regular glass, up to 5x stronger. Its creation process consists in heat up the regular 8mm float glass in a very high temperature (over 600ºC) and then cooling down very quickly. This process creates a much tougher glass surface, up to 500% more resistant to heat and shock than the regular glass.
